OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE
1. INTROduction

The training begins with a complete overview of the course, equipment, and overall flying process. You get familiar with the glider, harness, and safety systems, along with what to expect throughout your training journey.

2. THEORY & GROUND TRAINING

This phase includes both classroom sessions and practical runs. You learn key concepts like wind, weather, flight principles, and safety procedures, while also doing physical practice runs to understand movement, control, and coordination required during takeoff.

3. simulation

Using a manual simulator, you experience how flying actually feels. This includes practicing control inputs, understanding body position, and learning how to make turns and handle the glider in a controlled environment before real flights.

4. Practical solo flying

You start flying from Billing Paragliding Site, applying everything in real mountain conditions. With instructor guidance over radio, you focus on forward launch, in-air control, and safe landing techniques.

5. PROGRESSION & CERTIFICATION

With each flight, your confidence, control, and consistency improve as you master takeoffs, landings, and handling different flying conditions. Once you’ve completed the required skills and theory, you’ll be assessed and certified under the Association of Paragliding Pilots and Instructors (APPI), receiving your IPPI Rating Card, which allows you to fly internationally and continue advancing your paragliding journey.
