7 Day Course (P1 + P2 Basic)

7-Day APPI  P1+ P2 Paragliding Course

The 7-Day P1 + P2 Course is the perfect starting point for anyone who dreams of becoming a licensed paragliding pilot. Conducted in the world-famous flying site of Bir Billing, this course combines the Introductory (P1) and Basic (P2) levels into one continuous training program. By the end of the course, students gain the essential skills, confidence, and flight experience required to progress toward the APPI 2 Explore Pilot certification.


Course Objective

P1 – Introductory Course

P1 is where you begin learning paragliding from the ground up.During this stage, you’ll get familiar with the equipment, basic safety, and how a wing behaves in different wind conditions. Most of the training is hands on, with a strong focus on ground handling learning to control the glider, manage inflation, and maintain stability.

This phase also includes theory sessions to understand the fundamentals of flight, along with simulator training to practice control inputs in a structured way.

The aim is to prepare you with the basic skills and understanding required before moving on to flying.

Duration: 3–4 days


P2 – Basic Course

After completing ground training, you progress to solo flights. In Bir, flying is done from the main takeoff at Billing. You will complete 5 solo flights to Bir landing, with instructors guiding you through radio support during each flight.

In this stage, you will work on:

Maintaining direction and control during flight

Basic turning using weight shift

Planning your landing approach

Executing stable TAKEOFF  and controlled landings

The focus here is on developing consistency and confidence while flying under supervision.
