• Do I need prior experience to begin paragliding?

Not at all. Our beginner programs and tandem flight experiences are specially designed for those with no previous background in paragliding. You’ll be provided with complete instructions, detailed safety briefings, and practical guidance from certified instructors every step of the way.

  • Is paragliding safe?

Yes, paragliding is a safe activity when conducted with proper training and expert supervision. At Vayo Paragliding School, we adhere to strict safety standards, utilize certified and well-maintained equipment, and only operate in suitable and secure flying conditions.

  • What is the minimum and maximum age to enroll in the course?

The recommended age range is between 12 and 60 years. However, final eligibility is determined based on overall physical fitness, medical condition, and approval from our instructors.

  • What should I wear during training?

We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor attire along with sturdy sports shoes that provide good grip. Sunglasses and sunscreen are advisable for sun protection. Please avoid slippers or loose-fitting clothing. During colder months, carrying a windcheater or light jacket is highly recommended.

  • Do I need to be physically fit?

A basic level of physical fitness is necessary, as training includes short runs during take-off and ground handling of the glider. If you have any existing medical conditions, we advise informing us in advance so we can assess your suitability and ensure a safe experience.

Each course follows a structured duration schedule:

    • P1 Introductory: 4 Days

For long-term APPI-certified programs, the duration generally ranges between 7 to 20 days, depending on the course level and progression.

  • What happens if the weather conditions are unfavorable?

Paragliding is entirely dependent on safe and suitable weather conditions. In case of unfavorable weather, training sessions may be rescheduled or extended accordingly. Your safety remains our highest priority at all times.

  • Will I get to fly solo during the P1+P2 course?

Yes. Once you’ve mastered the fundamental ground skills, you’ll progress to low-altitude solo flights, all conducted under the close supervision and guidance of our instructors.
